Welcome!
Hello, and welcome to Making Art a Practice!
In this class we’re going explore dynamic ways to work in our sketchbooks and take our discoveries into the art we make and into our lives too.
How do we become truly our unique selves as artists and make our journey a really enriching one? Sketchbooks can give us a chance to experiment and let go of results, especially any need to get things right or to look good. We can find the edge of our abilities and insights and grow them.
I’m going on this journey with you as a full participant. I’ll post additional inspiration each weekday too as well as my drawings. I so look forward to seeing what you do and hearing your thoughts in the discussions we have. It’s going to be fun. And we’re going to bring something wondrous back to our art, and our lives, from our time together.
Thanks for joining in!
Cat Bennett

Nuts & Bolts
Here’s how this online class works:
• As a self-study class, so you have access to all of the lessons right now and can work the lessons on your own timetable.
• You have indefinite access to this class.
• You can (optionally) share your work with Cat via email or via the class Facebook page. Since this is now a self-study class, you will need to let Cat know if you upload work, as she doesn’t check the FB page as regularly.
• Class fee is good for participants living in a single household.
