Seeded Notebook

Thank you so much again for signing up for “Seeded Notebook” with Henrik Drescher! We are re-running this class over the next two weeks and we can work through the lessons together starting Tuesday, June 27th… Henrik will be available to comment on the forums and we hope you enjoy this wonderful class!

• Lesson Videos. All of the 6 lesson videos are pre-recorded and are available at your class page now, but here is the viewing schedule for this class rerun:

To access the lessons, log in to www.carlasonheim.com with the email and password you created at checkout. Then, navigate to “My Classes” (found in upper right corner) and from there you will find the class listed in alphabetical order.

• Zoom Work Session with Carla. This is optional, but if you can make it, join me for two hours on Saturday, July 1st from 10am-12noon PT… we will work on our seeded notebooks together (no additional teaching, but it’s always fun to work in community! (And if you need to miss, don’t worry! We will record the session and make it available to you by the following Monday.) The Zoom Link is:

• Facebook & Padlet Forums. The New Forums are open! Participation is completely optional but can be the best way to stay connected with the lessons and each other. We’ve gotten feedback over the years that ours are one of the nicest forums around, so please join in if you can! Our main group is at Facebook, but there is a small group for those not on Facebook who can interact via Padlet. (Please just choose one forum to post in to avoid double postings.) Here are the links!

• Masking tape

• X-acto knife and box cutter (if you have one)

• Cutting mat

• scissors

• hair dryer

• Posca® markers (just a few)

• Any drawing tools that you love to use.

• DRAWING PAPER: You will make 3-5 large collage sheets. I like to use white paper and one or two colored sheets such as brown or grey

Canson Mi-Teintes Drawing Papers are a good size.

• DIP PEN AND HOLDER:
Nibs Hunt #512 is a good solid nib
PAPER INK ARTS is a great place to buy nibs etc.
