Hi Everyone!
Thank you so much again for signing up for “Summer Art Camp!” I hope you can take some time today to think about and gather the supplies for what you’d like to work on this week… as well as gather paper and pen for our warmups!
I’ve opened up a new Facebook forum just for our small group:
https://www.facebook.com/groups/1188262109234689
(Participation is completely optional but can be another way to stay connected with each other, even after this week ends!)
Here is the link for the recurring Zoom sessions, which will begin at 10am PT each lesson day. NOTE: If you want to know exactly what time it is in your time zone, click HERE):

Hi Everyone!
Thank you for signing up for Summer Art Camp! I look forward to working with you for four days in a row starting Tuesday, July 11!
You will work on your own creative projects during the bulk of these sessions, but will need a pen and a sketchbook for the warmup activities… also, please bring your questions about anything regarding our classes, creativity, etc. and together we can have a wonderful conversation.
See you in a few days!
Carla

Camp Description
Recently I’ve been holding Zoom “work sessions” for various classes (Year of the Rabbit, Scrappy Blablahs and Seeded Notebook), and have found them to be a GREAT way to make art in community, talk about art and life, and enjoy and learn from all the artists in the room. Working on our own art projects, we chat about everything from how to unclog a gel pen to how making art mirrors our daily lives to questions regarding the classes people are currently working on.
We’ve been doing Art Camps in July for many years (Dog Days of Summer, Kids Art Weeks) and this year we decided to combine the two things: A Zoom Summer Camp!
We’ll start each day with a quick warm-up drawing, writing or collage exercise, then we will work on our own projects while chatting with like-minded people from all over the world. We’ll complete each day with a share time.
And if you can’t make all four days, don’t worry! The sessions will be recorded and available to you within a few hours after each session ends… that’s 8 hours of video that will keep you company in your studio!
I really hope you can join in!
Carla
P.S. Within 24 hours of signup you will receive an email with instructions and the class zoom link.
